Coleta Singleton, age 90, of Oden, AR, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 in Hot Springs, AR. Coleta was born on June 28, 1928 in Sulpher Springs, AR, to Robert B. and Fannie Carter.
Coleta was preceded in death by her parents Robert B. Sr. and Fannie (Hughes) Carter, husband: Charlie Singleton of 62 years, brothers: Robert Carter II, and Floyd Carter, sisters: Opal Warren and Faye Gladden. Coleta is Survivors by: son: Larry Singleton (Rene), daughter: Loretta Singleton Lotz (Jeff), grandchildren: Kim Singleton Wilkins, Laura Singleton, Chris Singleton, Jayme Singleton, and Andy Martin. She is also survived by six great-grandkids, two great-great grandkids and a numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing is from 11:30-12:00 Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Pencil Bluff Baptist Church. Service will begin at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Pencil Bluff Baptist Church with Bro. David officiating. Burial will be held at Pencil Bluff Cemetery in Pencil Bluff, AR. Pallbearers: Kim Singleton, Laura Singleton, Chris Singleton, Jayme Singleton, Andy Martin, Courtney Beggs, Shelby, Logan, Gage, Mia, Maddie Martin, and Beckham.
